Mums, bubs share fun in the sun

A FLOTILLA of babies and their mums dove into the Mums and Bubs Aerobics Program sponsored by the Bundaberg Child and Family Centre at the Norville Pool this week.

Water aerobics instructor Rose Fraser said mums took part for exercise and to socialise in the sun.

“The babies get to see the water as a happy and fun place. There is lots of fun and laughter,” she said.

The 30-minute class had 22 mums and 22 bubs.

“When people have a baby it can be isolating, and this is something where they can get out of the house and have lots of fun,” Mrs Fraser said.
