More puppies abandoned

THE sad trend of unwanted puppies being dumped on Bundaberg's streets continued this week with another four puppies found abandoned.

Teenager James Giese was on the way to work on Tuesday morning when he discovered a puppy in the middle of Cedars Rd.

"There were four puppies, three were foraging for food and another was in the middle of the road about to be hit," Mr Giese said.

"It was on the South Kolan side of Cedars Bridge."

Mr Giese said he found the bull arab cross puppies about 10.30am.

"(Cedars) is a known place for puppies being dumped," he said.

"It makes you wonder how someone could be so cruel - it's quite distressing."
