SOME drugs can stay in your system for up to a week especially if you are a regular user.

Bundaberg police has detected more than 100 drug positive drivers to date in the past few months.

Police said despite the fact you were risking people's lives by driving with drugs in your system new testing technology was being used that made drug testing as common and easy as a random breath test.

Local police officers now have the ability to drug test all vehicles they intercept.

If you drug drive you will be caught and you will lose your driver's licence which may affect your job.
