Misty mornings to give way to clear days

THE misty fog that has engulfed Bundaberg over the past week will slowly dissipate but not before one last showing.

Weatherzone meteorologist Ben McBurney said the best chance for it to happen this week was tomorrow morning.

"There has been a slow moving pressure system moving over the region which is typical for this time of year," he said.

"From Tuesday morning we will see some dry winds pushing in which will push the fog out."

Mr McBurney said the reason for the fog was light winds coupled with pretty high moisture levels.

"You've had some rain there which would have added to the humidity as well," he said.
