Missing girls could be in Ipswich or Laidley area: Police

TWO young girls have gone missing from Queensland's south east with police urging the public to help track them down.

The girls who are 14 and 15, were last seen at a house in Greenbank on Thursday night and although their exact whereabouts is unknown they may be in the Ipswich or Laidley area.

They are both described as approximately 160cm tall, slim build with brown hair.

Police hold concerns for their safety and urge them or anyone who has information about their whereabouts to contact Policelink on 131444.
