'He's having a s**t': kindy poo outrage

CHILDREN and parents arriving at a primary school in Adelaide's south last week were left shocked after a man allegedly pulled down his pants and defecated on school grounds.

The incident happened at Moana on Thursday, August 17, just after 8.30am outside the school's kindy.

A concerned parent contacted The Advertiser about the incident in a Facebook message.

She tried to gather the children close to her in an attempt to stop them from watching but she said they had already seen, with one calling out, "He's having a s**t."

"I'm in shock, disgusted and worried," she said in the message.

She wrote that once he had defecated, he "moved over to a flower bush and was continuing to clean off the faeces from his calves and shoes".

However, an SA Police spokesman said the incident was due to a "severe medical episode".

"South Coast Police advised they are aware of the incident after they liaised with the school, which turned out to be a man having a severe medical episode," the spokesman said.

"The school is taking no action and hasn't reported the matter to police.

"For all reports it was a very unfortunate incident that the school are very sympathetic with - but unfortunately someone put it on Facebook."

The Advertiser has contacted the school for comment.
