Masters of improvement call Ipswich store home
MASTERS is preparing to ride the wave of population growth in the Ipswich area with its new home improvement store.
Masters regional manager Craig Urquart said the company's investment in the store was part of a long-term approach to the area.
"This is a really important store in terms of the western corridor," Mr Urquart said.
"We've certainly made a significant investment and we know that there won't be a return instantly but I think it's more important to be part of the local community."
Ipswich MP Ian Berry said Masters' confidence was significant and competition in the hardware sector was good.
"I like competition because it does drive customer service and prices, so it's important for us," Mr Berry said.
