Maryborough Mill crush report
MARYBOROUGH Sugar Factory crushed 180,043 tonnes of cane as of yesterday at a CCS of 13.52.
Last week the mill crushed 43,584 tonnes at CCS of 13.68.
The highest CCS for the week was 16.70 for a load of Q235 R1 from the Granville area.
CCS results of major varieties for the week are as follows: Q138 2,313 tonnes at 13.16; Q208 17,625 tonnes at 13.89; KQ228 6,152 tonnes at 13.70; and Q232 8,500 tonnes at 13.44.
Planting operations are in full swing with fine weather providing ideal conditions although some rain would be a welcome sight.
