MAP: Data reveals Toowoomba's drug hotspots

QUEENSLAND Police Service data has revealed Toowoomba's drug hotspots over the past year - and one suburb has surged above the rest.

Since December 3, 2018, 376 drug crimes have been reported in the inner-city suburb of Newtown.

This is more than double the number of offences reported in the second-highest suburb, which is Harristown on 185 offences.

Other spikes were witnessed in the areas of Wilsonton and South Toowoomba, with 126 and 154 drug offences reported respectively.
