UPDATE: A man has been taken to hospital after a work site incident on Boundary Rd this morning.

The man, aged in his 50s, is believed to have hit his head when a front end loader rolled in Cranley.

Police and workplace investigators are on scene.

EARLIER: A man is trapped in the cabin of a front end loader which has tipped on a work site to Toowoomba's west.

Emergency services are responding to reports a man is trapped in heavy machine at the work site in Cranley.

Initial reports suggest the man, aged in his 50s, has struck his head in the incident.

The work site is located at the corner of Pedersen St and Boundary St in Cranley.
