Man taken to hospital after being stung by a stingray

PARAMEDICS have taken a man in his 30s to Bundaberg Hospital after he was reportedly stung by a stingray in Seventeen Seventy.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the stingray barb went into the man's foot offshore at 12.06pm.

The patient is in a stable condition.
