Man rushed to hospital after explosion near Bundaberg

A MAN has suffered burns and suspected limb fractures after a tank he was working on exploded this afternoon.

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew was tasked to a community south west of Bundaberg just before 2.30pm and landed in nearby cane fields.

It's believed the man had been working on his boat when the accident occurred.

He was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
