Man rushed to hospital after being struck by vehicle

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has been taken to Bundaberg Hospital after being struck by a vehicle carrying a boat trailer.

The man suffered scratches to the back of his head.

Police confirmed the man was conscious when emergency services arrived before he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The incident happened about 1.50pm on Barolin St near Boston and Maynard Sts and traffic in the area was diverted for a time.

Police will investigate the cause of the incident,

There were no reports of any other injuries.
