Man with pram threatened with blood-filled syringe

BUNDABERG detectives are urging witnesses to come forward who may have seen an armed robbery in broad daylight today.

Detective Senior Constable Rob Darney said the 29-year-old man was pushing a pram, when three men of indigenous appearance approached and threatened him with a blood-filled syringe about 12pm.

They demanded property and cash, before fleeing the scene.

They were last seen heading towards Target, in a easterly direction.

One of the robbers has been described as being aged between 17-20, unshaven, wearing a red jacket and black shorts.

Another male was wearing a purple and pink singlet with fluro-coloured shorts.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or detectives on 4153 9066.
