Man hospitalised after car and bike collide

A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been transported to Bundaberg Hospital after a car and push bike collided at the intersection of Boundary and Walker Sts.

Emergency services responded to the incident at about 9.45am today.

Bundaberg Police Sergeant Mike McLellan said initial enquires indicated the bike rider may have ridden through a red light.

The bike ride suffered and injury to his ankle and was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
