Man held at knifepoint for $10

A MAN was held at knifepoint for just $10 while he was watching TV in his Tantitha St home last night.

Bundaberg Police Detective Senior Sergeant Joe Hildred said about 6.30pm a 16-year-old boy entered the man's home, demanded he hand over his money and threatened him with a knife.

Snr Sgt Hildred said the alleged victim then went to his car and gave the boy $10.

The man then went inside and closed the door, but the boy started kicking it.

After the boy left, the man went to the police beat and reported what had happened.

The 16-year-old boy appeared in closed court this morning charged with break and enter and robbery with violence.
