Monster parmy challenge: This man finished 2kg of chicken

WHILE many have attempted the region's monster parmy challenge, just a handful have succeeded.

Cotton's Café/Restaurant/Bar in Gatton set the challenge earlier this month for its patrons to devour a 2kg chicken parmigiana.

The meal is coated in cheese and comes complete with a generous side of chips. It must be finished within two hours.

Out of 33 people who have attempted the meal, just three have finished it.

With a time of just 35 minutes, current champion Kirby McKean showed the parmigiana was no challenge at all.

Joining him on the Board of Legends are Brett Lu with a time of 59 minutes and Tyler Temple with a time of one hour and two minutes.

The meal costs $45 and if you beat it you will get your meal for free, exclusive bragging rights as well as a spot on the restaurant's Board of Legends.
