Man falls from mango tree, rescued by helicopter

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter landed at a property in Goodwood, 30km south of Bundaberg last night to airlift a man in his 30s who fell from a mango tree.

The man was attaching a bird feeder to the tree on his property when he fell approximately five metres, suffering some injuries.

CareFlight's medical team treated the man on-scene before flying him to Bundaberg Hospital.

He travelled in a stable condition.
