Man allegedly stabbed repeatedly by woman with fork

A WOMAN has allegedly stabbed a man repeatedly with a fork.

Police were called out to a disturbance at Redcliffe on Friday afternoon where they located an injured man on the street. 

Police say the man and woman were involved in a verbal fight at a nearby residence where the man was stabbed several times. 

He then left the residence but police allege the woman followed and stabbed him several more times. 

A 40-year-old man was transported to Caboolture Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A 49-year-old woman has been charged with one count each of wounding (domestic violence offence) and contravention of a domestic violence order.

She is due to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on October 4.
