AN Andergrove man has faced court after allegedly crashing a car and forcing a woman to drive him from the scene.

Zachary Allen Horstman, 23, faced Mackay Magistrates Court on Friday.

He appeared from the dock in custody.

He's been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a vehicle, deprivation of liberty, two counts of failing to stop a vehicle, four counts of driving without a licence, two counts of stealing, two counts of possessing tainted property, and one count of receiving tainted property.

No pleas were entered by Horstman, who was represented by solicitor Erin Beer, of Legal Aid Queensland.
