Loggerheads nest at Mon Repos

VISITORS to Mon Repos overnight Wednesday enjoyed the popular turtle encounter as five loggerhead turtles nested.

Another five emerged but did not lay and three clutches hatched.

So far this season there have been nearly 14,000 visitors to the turtle rookery.
