Listen out for holiday cheer

THE generous holiday spirit is here, with Bundaberg Broadcasters giving away $2000 to a lucky listener and NewsMail reader this Christmas.

Entering Santa’s Money Tree is as simple as getting a match-up game entry form, where businesses must be matched to their catch-phrase, and listening to 4BU and Hitz FM.

Bundaberg Broadcasters sales promotions manager Heather Ussher-Giovannoni said there were many reasons to stage the competition, but especially to have listeners and retailers interact.

“And it’s fun for the community,” she said.

“Especially at Christmas time — who doesn’t want $2000?”

And with many people in need at this time of year, it may just be time to test your skills and luck.

Mrs Ussher-Giovannoni said all people needed to do was get the entry form in tomorrow’s NewsMail and listen in to 4BU and Hitz FM for clues.

She said there were also only three places left on the tree for businesses who wanted to join in the popular promotion.

The NewsMail has already run two of the match-up game entry forms, and a number of businesses around the area have seen its popularity grow.

To snatch one of the last spots, give Bundaberg Broadcasters a call on 4153 0800.

So take your opportunity to win $2000 this Christmas by dropping a completed entry form into any of the participating businesses, by competition close on Wednesday, December 16.

The winner will be drawn on air on Friday, December 18 and be published in the NewsMail public notices on Saturday, December 19.
