LETTER: Cane crossing
JUST read about the young fellow who hit the cane train. He has my sympathy for his injury.
But a cane train runs through the crushing.
All crossings are marked with a red cross, donating a rail crossing.
And anyone living in this district knows about the tracks.
Crushing time means cane trains.
Sensible people drive to road rules and look to the left then to the right again.
You keep your mind on driving.
They say the crossing needs flashing lights. That is an overkill. Just look where you are driving.
Cane trains run through the crushing. Surely you do not consider crossing lights just for you.
