Ladies, cars and stars steal show

BUNDABERG'S car enthusiasts are in for a treat when American Hot Rod TV star Bernt Karlsson shares his tricks of the trade as part of this year's Cure 4 Cancer Car Show.

Event organiser Brett Taylor said Mr Karlsson and fellow star Jo Coddington would be in town from July 12 - 14 for the charity fundraiser that hopes to raise more than $3000 for cancer research.

"It will be bigger and better than before," Mr Taylor said.

"Bernt will be holding a workshop on Thursday, July 12 showing people how to do their own car repairs and body work."

The cars will go on display for the public from 9am on Saturday, July 14 at the AgroTrend grounds.

There will be hot rods, street cars, veteran and classic cars and more.

And for the first time, ladies are encouraged to vie for the Miss C4C Quest title.
