Sick kids get special dose of the Wiggles

A QUARTET wearing bright coloured skivvies has wiggled its way into Bundaberg Hospital.

The new Wiggles group visited Bundaberg today for its concert at the Moncrieff Theatre, but made a special detour in the big red car.

The children's ward came to life as The Wiggles performed live for the children at the hospital.

Faces were alight as every8 one sat on the floor and sang along to Miss Polly had a Dolly.

Wiggle Anthony said it was a fitting song to sing at the hospital.

The children then twinkled their fingers as they sang along to Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star any many other Wiggles hits.

Kelly Last, her husband and two young children were over the moon.

"We're just really excited to get the chance to see them," she said.

It's the first time for them to see the new Wiggles.

"We've been listening to them non-stop, they're always on in the car too."

Sharyn Cayley said her kids were also very excited .

"We always watch them at home," she said.

Mrs Cayley said it was a generous gesture for The Wiggles to visit the hospital.

"I think that's so nice, and it's good for the kids," she said.

Tegan Smith said her son Jack loved the show.

"I think the kids all loved it, it was really nice of them," she said.
