Kaufusi scores in Melbourne win

LEAGUE: Bundaberg's Felise Kaufusi has done his Queensland State of Origin chances no harm, playing a vital role in Melbourne's win over Gold Coast in the NRL on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium.

The 25-year-old scored for the Storm in the side's 28-14 win over the Titans to secure the team's sixth victory of the year.

Kaufusi scored in the 50th minute to level the scores at 14-14 before the Storm added another 14 points to win the game.

The try was Kaufusi's second of the year.

He also played a full 80 minutes as he made 33 tackles and gained 93 metres in 11 runs during the night.

The Storm will now prepare to take on Manly, who defeated Brisbane in the double header.

The sides will face off next Sunday at 2pm.
