Joy for kids as they get swings

BURNETT Heads Community Kindergarten attendees are swinging for joy thanks to the generosity of the Bundaberg Athole Masonic Lodge, which donated a swing set to the group.

The not-for-profit kindergarten has been without the staple playground equipment for a long time now.

Many children from the Burnett Heads community, Bargara and Innes Park attend Coral Coast Community kindergarten, including special needs children.

Kindergarten staff said the swings had been a welcome addition.

Recently the Athole Masonic Lodge made donations to Bargara State School, Givelda State School, Bundaberg Special School and Kepnock State High School.

The lodge is currently conducting a fundraiser to help support the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Angel Flight and Meals on Wheels.
