WHATEVER you thought Kit Harington would do next, it probably wasn't this.

The Game of Thrones star has unveiled his first post-Thrones role, an HBO-produced 43-minute mockumentary in which he plays an uneducated tennis star.

With his shaved face and pulled-back hair, it's a far cry from his role as shaggy good guy Jon Snow in the hit fantasy series, which ended its fifth season controversially last week.

Called 7 Days in Hell, the fictional made-for-TV film follows two tennis stars - played by Harington and comedian Andy Samberg - who spent seven days on one match in 2004.

It also stars Lena Dunham, Will Forte, Mary Steenburgen, Fred Armisen, Serena Williams and Michael Sheen.

7 Days in Hell is set to air in the US on July 11.
