JOIN in the spooky celebrations this Halloween as zombies take over Hinkler Central.

Have your face painted, create your very own bewitched mask and help raise funds for the local community.

For a gold coin donation, customers can participate in the Centre's annual Zombie Walk on Thursday, October 29.

All money raised will be donated to local charity, 'Orange Thumbs'.

Orange Thumbs, in association with the Newro foundation, is a not-for-profit organisation that supports locals in the region suffering from neurological disorders.

To participate in the Zombie Walk, register online at hinklercentral.com.au.

On the night please meet at the rear of the Centre along Maryborough Street at 6.15pm and provide a gold coin donation to the Orange Thumbs volunteers on arrival.

In addition, Hinkler Central will be offering spooky activities for children to enjoy.

Participate in the free bewitched craft village outside of Coles from 5pm to 8pm, or kids can have their faces painted for Halloween by D'vize, located outside of Kmart.

Standard face painting will cost $10, with special effects costing $15.

If you are stuck for Halloween costumes, head to the pop up party shop located outside of Zelows, from 9am to 8pm.
