Jayde Kendall murder accused to face trial in September

THE man accused of killing schoolgirl Jayde Kendall will face trial in September.

Brenden Jacob Bennetts, 19, is charged with one count of  murder and one of interfering with a corpse.

Sixteen-year-old Jayde went missing from Gatton on August 14.

Her body was found on a property in Upper Tenthill, south of Gatton, two weeks later.

Mr Bennetts faced a brief hearing in the Brisbane Supreme Court on Thursday.

His trial is due to start on  September 4.
