Isolation must-have on sale for $15

While Australians haven't been buying as much since coronavirus hit, spending in the beauty space has quadrupled.

Recent statistics show there has been a 430 per cent increase in skincare sales, while makeup and fragrances have shot up by 330 per cent.

While our spending habits have changed as we adapt to life at home, there's no reason we can't snag a bargain as we indulge a little.

This is why Priceline's three-day sale - which kicks off Wednesday, August 12 - has us very excited.

The Australian pharmacy chain is giving shoppers a very tempting 40 per cent discount on all skincare and suncare items as well as tanning products which, considering none of us are going on holiday anytime soon, could not have come at a better time.

Well, they do say fake it until you make it - which is why fake tan has become an isolation must-have.

Priceline literally has hundreds of brands and items on its shelves, so there's something for every skin type and concern.

But these are the items I'll be adding to my virtual shopping cart.

WELEDA SKIN FOOD

Don't have a spare $665 to splurge on a tub of La Mer's "skin-changing" Crème de la Mer? No worries, we've got the solution - Weleda Skin Food.

At $14.95 for 30ml, it is already officially filed under B for Bargain - but take an extra 40 per cent off and it's practically free. Well, not quite - but it is a very justifiable $8.97. Yes please.

NIP+FAB GLYCOLIC FIX NIGHT EXTREME PADS

Usually $34.99, but during the store's three-day sale this will cost you $21. These pads are the ultimate night treatment which work by gently rubbing away gross dead skin build-up to reveal gorgeous, glowy skin in the morning. You can read our full review on the item in The Beauty Diary here.

REVLON OIL-ABSORBING VOLCANIC ROLLER

Do you get an unwanted sheen effect from your excess oil? No problem - this stone roller takes away the effects of extra sebum, perfect for freshening up between those back-to-back Zoom calls. While it would normally set you back $14.95, you can snag it for $8.97 from tomorrow until Friday.

BONDI SANDS AERO SELF-TANNING FOAM

The only thing that can make you feel like you’ve been on holiday recently. Picture: Supplied

Hands down the best fake tan around, although I have a very soft spot for Bali Body and Elle Effect too which aren't stocked in Priceline. It dries super speedily, doesn't transfer to your sheets and gives a natural glow. While it's usually $24.99, it can be snapped up for $15. Bloody bargain.

There are a few items the discount doesn't apply to though, so if you're after the Carbon Theory soap bar that has gone viral because you're suffering with "maskne" - acne caused by irritation from wearing a face mask - you're going to be disappointed.

You can check out the full list of brands not included in the sale in the promo image below.
