Inside 3yr-old Instagram star's $5000 cubby house

THREE-year-old Millie-Belle Diamond has been an Instagram star for most of her young life.

She's amassed a 158,000 following who dote on her over-the-top designer lifestyle, Kidspot reported

The little fashionista walked the runway for New York Fashion week in February this year. She's also regularly sent clothes from high-end labels like Gucci, Chanel and Givenchy and reportedly paid up to $250 per Instagram post to wear them.

But it's her $5000 cubby house, built by her dad in the backyard of their Noosa home, that has everyone talking.

Mum Schye Fox, who manages Millie-Belle's Instagram account and MBD fashion label (and, presumably, Millie-Belle herself), said, "She's very dramatic and over-the-top, so we embrace her extra-ness and try to make her surroundings fabulous."

The fabulousness includes a piano and working television. "Hubby had the TV idea," Schye revealed. "Thankfully he's handy as he had to wire it all himself.

"The cubby was actually a lot of work as it's essentially a self-contained unit.

"We really wanted it to be a little space for her and her little friends to have tea parties and play all those cute little games girls play."

The luscious playhouse is decked out like a real house - well, not the 'real house' of most of us, but more of a 'real housewives' house.

We wanted it to be a little bit special, like her," said Schye. "The chandelier was a must."

Her down-to-earth mum keeps her grounded

It would be tempting to dismiss Schye as just another "Instamum", pushing her kid into the limelight for her own fame, but that's not the case at all. Schye is down-to-earth, funny and more than a little bit amused by her daughter's social media success.

"We've had a few agent offers for her, both here in Australia and in LA" she said. "But I'm not really looking into any of it.

"Maybe when she's a bit older and she tells me she wants to do all castings and shoots. Right now it's just me taking the pictures when she feels like it."

For all her fancy-living, high-end ways, it seems Millie-Belle is just as down-to-earth as her mother, helping her dad build the backyard cubby of her dreams.

"She helped with the painting and with the garden," said Schye. "She's not afraid of getting dirty.

"Although I made sure all her Gucci and Givenchy was right away from that paint!"

Like every other mother of an independent three-year-old, Schye is often perplexed by her daughter's wardrobe choices. She may have a wardrobe full of designer labels to choose from, but she's not immune to over-wearing her favourites.

"Sometimes she'll wear the same tutu for five days straight," Schye reports with an eye roll. "That's okay, we just don't take the shots on those days.

"We just have fun with it."
