A PET store has narrowly escaped having a car come through the front windows.

Two cars collided on a corner at Glebe Rd in front of West Moreton Pet Foods just before 4.30pm on Wednesday.

One of the cars went straight through the post holding up the shop's awning, smashing into the side of the building.

Chloe Stuhmcke, whose family owns the business, was standing on the other side of the wall when the crash happened.

"I heard a massive smash and at first thought someone was trying to break in," Chloe said.

"It was pretty scary."

No one was hurt in the incident, but the paint on the shop wall hasn't escaped unscathed.

"That wall only got painted yesterday," Chloe said.
