Hot car revs up charity
A BRIGHT red drag racer plonked in the middle of the pavilion in the CBD yesterday attracted plenty of admiring glances.
That’s exactly why Brett Taylor strategically parked it there.
Mr Taylor used the attraction of the modified Holden Torana hatchback to publicise this year’s Cure 4 Cancer Car Show.
The car show, which is to be held on August 6 and 7, has become an annual event organised by Mr Taylor to raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council.
This year the show will be held at the Agro-Trend grounds to accommodate a bigger crowd.
