High-tech court house

BUNDABERG will be one of four court houses that will feature state-of-the-art technology when video conferencing systems are installed this year.

Attorney-General Cameron Dick said more than $150,000 would be spent upgrading each courthouse by the end of the year.

The courtrooms will be upgraded to have full video-conferencing capabilities and vulnerable witness suites will be upgraded to enable child witnesses and alleged sexual assault victims to give evidence without having to come face to face with the accused.
