Henricksen super six seals draw

TOUCH: Magpies' Braden Henricksen dazzled with six touchdowns but they drew 8-all with Eels in their 2002/03 boys clash on the last night of Bundaberg Junior fixtures for 2011.

After he and Brendan Grills bagged doubles a week earlier, Henricksen had a game to remember, while Grills again touched down two times.

But in a pulsating end-to-end duel, Jake Smedley and Nicholas Barrett were each also in the thick of things for Eels, crossing four and three times respectively.

Four other players racked up five touchdowns on the program, including Adam Denyer, who co-starred with Layton Chambers, who snared four, as Stallions galloped away to a 13-0 white-wash of Bombers in the 1998-99 boys Division 2.

Joe Williams also notched five as Yankees overpowered Titans 13-2 in the same division, while Nicholas Kitchener joined in the party, spearheading Knights to a 13-5 win at the expense of Tigers in the 2000-01 boys age group.

But Jessica Lane's bag of five was not enough for Bears in the 2001-02 girls division as Kookaburras got home 8-6 with twin hat-tricks to Kaitlin Hunt and Erin Clayton.
