Heavy rain to ease off

THE Bundaberg district finally shrugged off the dry November with a return to traditional summer weather this week.

After patchy rain on Tuesday, the heavens really opened yesterday, delivering heavy falls.

And while things are expected to let up today, meteorologists are predicting a continuation of wet weather for the rest of the week.

Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Bryan Rolstone said the rain would start decreasing to showers and thunderstorms today.

"But it will be spotty and variable," he said.
