ACCORDING to Connie Desbois the secret to a long life is never drinking or smoking.

This afternoon Connie Desbois celebrated her 104th birthday with her children, grand children and 9 of her great grand children.

Her son Clive Desbois was with her and said 'she used to do a lot of singing when she was young at weddings and plays and now she still sings."

He said she's the eldest at the Francis of Assisi Home and she loves it there.
