Guide to Granite Belt launched

THE Granite Belt launched the inaugural Granite Belt Nature and Adventure Guide to encourage visitors to truly experience all the region has to offer.

Developed in response to consumer demand, the Nature and Adventure Guide outlines a myriad of activities from climbing The Pyramid at Girraween National Park, four-whee driving through the amazing Sundown National Park, being mesmerised by waterfalls, catching an elusive Murray Cod, viewing stunning wildflowers, to cycling country lanes.

Granite Belt Wine and Tourism director of marketing Anissa Williams said: "There was no one publication that encompassed all the fantastic nature and adventure activities on the Granite Belt.

"The guide is your complete package to experiencing an elevated holiday you won't forget.

"Yes, we are renowned for food and wine, but we wanted to showcase to visitors the diverse range of experiences available in the region.

"Hike up famous prehistoric granite formations for an amazing 360 degree view and afterwards reward your adventures with a lunch of stunning produce at one of our award winning wineries - now that's a perfect day," Ms Williams said.

The Nature and Adventure Guide is available online at Granite Belt Wine Country.
