Greed fuels Sunday trading bid

I NOTE on Monday’s news that Woolworths want Sunday Trading in Bargara.

What justifies their application apart from greed and wanting to crush local opposition?

The IGA, as stated, has been there in excess of 10 years and regularly donates in excess of $100,000 to local charities and/or community projects.

Mr Cast has to be congratulated for his ability to compete against his opposition on weekday trading.

He has offered good service and, on occasions, very good deals over the weekends.

Woolworths don’t care about the local bloke, treading all over them like they do everywhere else.

Give this man a chance; he gave Bargara something they never had.

Some loyalty is paramount.
