Governor in Bundy today

QUEENSLAND Governor Penelope Wensley will unveil an engineering heritage marker at the East water tower in Sussex St this afternoon.

The tower was built in 1902 as part of the then Bundaberg Municipal Council’s new reticulated water system.

Ms Wensley will go to Mon Repos this evening to see turtle hatchlings on the beach, as part of her push to promote tourism across Queensland.
