Gorge on talent at Cania site

COMMUNITY members with hidden talents are invited to enter the inaugural Talent in the Gorge competition.

The event is being held by Cania Gorge Big 4 Caravan and Tourist Park between November 28 and December 5.

Singers, poets, storytellers and budding artists are welcome to show off their skills.

There will be $6000 in prizes and $1000 for the best camp-oven cooking.

The opening, on November 28, will include a billy tea and damper smoko, introduction to performers, bird feeding, wine tasting, camp-oven dinner and a movie night.

There will be an opportunity to vote for your favourite artists and camp-oven cooks.

Final presentations will be held on December 5.

There is never a dull moment at Cania, with an abundance of walking trails, and swimming and leisure activities for any interest and fitness level.
