Goodwill in parking

BUNDABERG motorists are being urged to bring their goodwill to car parks this festive season, after it has been revealed Christmas cheer has been lacking in shopping centre parking areas.

RACQ spokesman Mike Sopinski said an astonishingly high number of Queensland drivers admitted to inconsiderate and even illegal behaviour in their attempts to grab a car park.

"More than two-thirds of Queensland drivers, 70%, say another motorist has stolen a car park when they were waiting for it," he said.

"Six percent say it has happened to them more than half the time they go shopping."
