Golf day helps children in need

ORGANISERS of the second annual charity golf day in aid of the Umoja Orphanage Kenya are hoping the community will continue to show its support to help build the children's home.

Umoja Orphanage Kenya director Cathy Booth said the two player ambrose event will begin at 7am with a barbecue breakfast before a 7.30am tee-off and she was hopeful the crowds would turn out in force on Sunday.

"We are constantly amazed at the ongoing support of the Bundaberg community," she said.

Entry fees for the day are $10 for Gold Members, $30 for Full Members and $45 for visitors.

All players over 18 are welcome. For more information or to register call the Pro Shop on 4159 3333.
