Man found dead in horror crash

A GOLD Coast man has died in a car crash at Mingo in central Queensland yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3.30pm on Gayndah Mount Perry Road.

The 27-year-old man from Palm Beach was found dead at the scene after his four-wheel drive lost control and collided into a tree.

A 28-year-old woman, who was a passenger, in the vehicle was taken to Gayndah Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The forensic crash unit is investigating.
