Getting naked for a good cause

IT IS not every day you would see Bundaberg superstar Justin Standley with his gear off but, along with some of the crew from Bundaberg Broadcasters, that's exactly what he did.

The group of brave men - 4BU's Billy Healy, Pete from Hitz939, KixFM's "Cruising with Craig" and Tim Sayre from Augmented Reality, along with Mr Standley - bared all to raise awareness of Naked Tuesday, a campaign started by cancer sufferer Craig Coombes.

"This is not about the nudity, and thankfully all the bits are covered," Mr Sayre said.

"It's about having a bit of fun with life, despite what it throws at you. Most importantly, it's about ensuring that you live each day to the fullest - making the rest of your life the best of your life."

Mr Sayre said "never in a million years" would he have done this sort of thing.

"But when you hear Craig Coombes' story, it makes you realise that you actually don't know how long you have, so why not make it the best you can," he said.

"We are encouraging others in the area to join in and show Bundaberg's support for Craig and his inspirational message - to make the rest of your life the best of your life".
