Get your mixing bowls out - TV show is seeking keen bakers

KEEN Bundaberg bakers can now gather their wooden spoons and aprons and work on whipping up a recipe for TV stardom.

With the rising popularity of cooking shows, The Great Australian Bake Off will be back for another season and organisers are calling for entrants.

Culinary icon Maggie Beer and acclaimed chef Matt Moran are looking for passionate bakers to apply for the newest Australian TV series on The LifeStyle Food Channel.

You'll be put to a series of baking tasks, and one will be crowned Australia's best amateur baker.

It might be sponge and shortbread, or ombre cake and salted caramel cupcakes - whatever your bake, whatever your age, if it's up to scratch, Maggie and Matt want to talk to you.

Grease your pans, preheat your oven and apply now at www.australianbakeoff.com.au.
