Gallery gets artistic online

THE Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery is set to rocket into cyberspace with the launch of its new website on Wednesday.

Gallery marketing officer Chloe Camilleri said the website had been in development since the gallery opened early last year.

“We wanted to make sure there were a lot of interactive components and they were the best they can be,” Ms Camilleri said.

The website will include information about the gallery, an opportunity to subscribe to the electronic newsletter, the ability to book workshops online and information regarding the hiring of education sites.

The launch of www.brag-brc.org.au will coincide with the opening of the gallery’s first exhibition for 2010 – Antarctica.
