Funeral today for murdered Twba mum and daughter
THE funeral for the mother and daughter stabbed to death in Toowoomba will be held today.
Melanie Perks, 38, and her 12-year-old daughter Ebonie were found dead in their family home in Redwood St, Newtown, last Tuesday morning.
Their funeral will be held at Burstows Chapel in Ruthven St at 12.30pm today.
The family is requesting donations be made to "mental illness".

A 16-year-old boy is in custody charged with their murders.
He is due to appear back in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 1.
