Free sexual health help at clinic

BUNDABERG residents with sexual health concerns can now take advantage of the Q Clinic’s new premises in the Margaret Rose Building, in Bourbong Street.

The clinic recently moved from the Bundaberg Hospital campus to the building just across the road from the Mater Hospital.

The clinic’s new premises are a five-minute walk from the Bundaberg Hospital.

Q Clinic nurse unit manager Fiona Stack said the clinic provided a range of services including testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy testing, some vaccinations and advice.

“Sometimes a person who has concerns relating to sexual health can feel completely alone,” she said.

“This is where Q Clinic can help - we offer a free and confidential service to adults and teenagers.”
